TOMS Coffee

A little while ago I bought my first pair of TOMs.. in pink. I then went out and bought a navy pair because I didn't want to ruin the pink ones! I love them, they are very light comfortable shoes.

I'd ordered my shoes online, and whilst looking at the website discovered that TOMS also roast coffee, well who knew that? There's a TOMS shop based at 5-7 Fouberts Place, W1F you'll find the TOMS coffee within the shoe shop. The Coffee shop is small but perfectly formed (it's probably more of a coffee corner, but good things come in small packages, don't they?). You can find out more here.

By buying their coffee your helping to provide clean water to those who need it in other parts of the world. I'm a strong believer in helping others, and I've actually read about other coffee shops that help charities, so I will be looking into those soon. Just like the ethos of every pair of shoes bought, TOMS give a child a pair of shoes. The shop itself is quirky and worth exploring anyway.

'As a company, we're in business to help improve lives. Our latest mission helps our customers provide the most basic human need. That’s why with every bag of coffee you purchase, TOMS will give one week of clean water to a person in need'.

The Coffees

I had a cappuccino whilst my friend went for a chai latte. The coffee was good. I also particularly enjoyed the little biscuits that accompanied each drink. There was a selection of teas available, as well as some cold drinks and a small selection of sweet treats.

Water was readily available which always goes down well in my book. I love the ethos behind TOMS - I think if more places had a charitable attitude the world would be a better place.

The TOMS store is just a stones throw from Liberty, Kingly Court and Carnaby Street. Oxford Circus is the closest tube station. The coffee shop as I mentioned is small, but we didn't feel rushed. There are plugs in the window seats for charging. It's a great place for people watching, which is one of the things I love to do best in Central London.

 Until next time. X
