SP34 | Copenhagen | Travel

Copenhagen has been on my 'bucket list' for a long time, but it was only recently a friend and I were talking about how much we'd like to visit the Danish capital. We searched for flights and ended up booking the 7.50am flight from Luton. The accommodation was a different matter, we looked at many a Air B n B, we ummed and ahhed, but then I came across SP34 for a great price. Our minds had been made up for us.

SP34 is a Brochner Hotel (there are 3 in total in Copenhagen), it's in the Latin Quarter and sets you up in a great location of the city. Just off H. C. Andersen Boulevard, and a short walk from Tivoli Gardens.

I wasn't planning on going into great detail about the hotel, but then I realised how many photos of it I'd taken and how much actually I think it deserves it's very own blog post.

From the outside the hotel is quite discreet. But inside the Scandinavian design is prominent.
The simple, clean rooms are the perfect base for resting your head after days exploring Copenhagen. I certainly slept like a log, both nights.

I loved the 'do not disturb' sign, especially the 'I am writing my blog'. Of course.

Having said that whilst I was away there was certainly no time for blogging, we were far to busy exploring Copenhagen for that.

The bathroom contained lovely Ren products. Perfect for those with only cabin baggage.

We ate breakfast at the hotel on one of our two mornings in Copenhagen. The hotel offered a great spread of organic food, with plenty of bread, danish pastries, fruit, yoghurt and cheese.

The hotel is a great space, I loved this 'mind map' in the lobby. There's also a lovely library room.

SP34 is a great base in Copenhagen, it's within walking distance of most of the main attractions and very close to the main station too. We found the staff to be very helpful on all occasions. Overall it's a really great place to stay.

We enjoyed the lobby bar, and 'wine hour' which is from 5-6pm each evening.

 Have you been to Copenhagen?

The more I write about Copenhagen the more I want to return.
