Another week that was.

Well here we are mid May already. I know I say this every time but where is time going. Is it true that as you get older time passes by even quicker?

This week I've been:

Enjoying the sun.
Okay it's been on and off, but we've had some a couple of beautiful days of sunshine. I've definitely been making the most of them.

Siting in the park.
The sun came out, which was a little surprise. I'd read the forecast and thought it would be cloudy. Don't you love it when they get it wrong, and it turns out to be a lot nicer than expected?! They say some see a weed, some see a wish. Dandelions remind me of my childhood. There's something magical about them.

Planning a trip to Copenhagen.
A friend and I have booked a trip to Copenhagen at the beginning on June, so yesterday we met up and made a plan of things we'd like to do and see whilst we're there. However if you have any tips please let me know. What are your favourite bits of Copenhagen?

Eating.
A sneaky macaroon. Following in the footsteps of the Macaroons & Mews tour which is hosted by Yannick. I wandered a few of the Mews with a friend. We popped into Pierre Hermé for Macaroons.

And a bit more eating.
This week has been a bit of a treat week, we've eaten out a few times. You know some weeks just go like that. We had some lovely Lebanese food at Chez Vous in Tooting. The food was delicious and the service was great. It's always full in the evenings, so we timed it well. The reviews are brilliant, and now we know why. We'll definitely be returning.

Drinking.
This lovely cocktail is one of the new cocktails on offer at Ben's Canteen. It's called Lavender Hill, which if your local you'll know is in Clapham, where one of the two Ben's Canteens is located. I'd head over and try one if I were you. It's rather scrummy.

Starting a new book.
Okay so I'm yet to actually start it, but I've been carrying it around in my bag a lot. You can read about my latest reads here.

Falling in love with Toms.
I bought myself a pair of Toms recently. Okay, okay, I know I'm a bit late to the party, as you've probably been wearing them for yonks. But they are SO comfy. I may just have to buy another pair - in a more sensible colour. Sorry Kelly, if your reading this I know you're not a fan!

What have you been doing this past weekend? And what have you got planned for the long Bank Holiday?
