Another week that was..

Here we have it, another week has passed. They do say time flies when your having fun. In actual fact I'm a little late posting this one, it should have been with you last Sunday - but there were a few things I definitely wanted to share with you.  So last week I was...

Admiring Seahorses.
A little perk of my job is going to some lovely places such as the London Aquarium, which I probably enjoy just as much as the little ones.

Eating cake.
These beautiful cakes were at Boulangerie Bon Matin, Finsbury Park. Whilst visiting a friend's new place, she took me to the lovely Boulangerie Bon Matin, which had a large selection of cakes. We shared this carrot cake, which looks gigantic, & apricot crumble cake.

Drinking at my local..
I quite liked the wallpaper there.

Whilst photographing the floor.
And the floor...(oops, perhaps a sign of my age or too many glasses of..)

Visiting the Townhouse. 5 Fournier Street, Spitalfields.
This is a quiet little place, which is well hidden from the hustle and bustle of the market. You'll find a huge array of handmade cakes in a old townhouse kitchen underneath the shop.

Eating more cake and drinking more tea.
Pictures from inside the Townhouse.

Admiring Doorways, and numbers such as Eleven and a half!
This is also on Fournier Street. I love quirky London.

Spotting Old Underground signs.
This one was at Aldgate East.

What have you been doing this week?

  1. Some beautiful spots, right on top of where I used to work as well ... how did I miss the Townhouse? (probably too preoccupied with the Hummingbird Bakery!)

The seahorse is so cute, I haven't been to an aquarium for years! We have a Sealife Centre at Tynemouth and I keep meaning to go!

    1. Thank you, Chloe. I think it's a little bit of a secret (until I opened my mouth)! What a lovely location to have worked in. Thanks again for commenting xx

  2. Great pics! Oh ! I miss London already! You do eat a lot of cake, don't you? Lucky girl. We skipped the aquarium while in London because the lines were too long. Guess I'll put t at the top of the list for next time!

  3. I do.. I'm not sure if lucky is the right word.. perhaps naughty!

It's a good day out, but we went before the holidays started and arrived at 10am. I'm with you on not queuing if it's that bad. There's so much more you could be doing. Do you have a return trip in the planning already?!
