February has certainly snuck up upon me. All of a sudden the 'darkest' month is behind us and I'm trying to think about the nights that seem to be staying lighter a little longer now. I'm sure it was partially light at 5.10pm this evening. Spring is coming. I repeat Spring IS coming. This will be helpful for more London Adventures, as lately I've found myself cosying up on the sofa with a book as opposed to venturing out into the cold.
This brings me to my plans...
I've been thinking of a little feature I'd like to do on the blog called 'Wandering London'. Last year in November I was inspired by the Macaroons & Mews tour by Yannick which you can read about here. It really made me appreciate the hidden areas of London, just a few seconds from the hustle and bustle you can find beautifully quiet streets and mews, which I think we are all grateful for.
Oh how a girl can dream..
Today whilst on the prowl for a spot of Brunch (every blogger needs their fuel) in Parsons Green I stumbled across this lovely little street. I'd planned on visiting Hally's a lovely new brunch spot in PG, as recommended by a friend. However it seemed everyone else had the same idea so we wandered along to Local Hero on the Fulham Road to enjoy a cappuccino and smashed avocado on sourdough. I have a real thing for avocados at the moment! The Boy went for the Full English, which I have to say looked divine, washed down with an americano.
Next weekend I've planned a little 'Wandering London' which of course will be blogging about. It will contain cupcakes & probably some coffee and hopefully some quaint little corners that I come across during my wanderings.
Until then I'm going to leave you with a lovely list of places I'd like to visit over the coming months:
London Curators Coffee, Crumbs & Doilies, Federation Coffee, Upsy Daisy Bakery, Tap, Fulham Tarts, Department of Coffee and Social Affairs, Story Coffee.
Until next time. X
