Getting ready for Christmas.

Here you go.. the CHRISTMAS BLOG POST from me, a little round up of my busy December.

Last weekend I visited Peggy Porschen's cake parlour again, (I've lost count now)! And its still as good as the first time. My friend and I went for tea and cake to celebrate my birthday. I choose this rather lovely 'Black Forest Cupcake' - topped with a beautiful Christmas tree, which literally melted in my mouth!

I've been very busy during the whole of December, at work (I'm a nanny),
it's been all about the Christmas crafts. We've been busy making Christmas cards, Christmas decorations and gingerbread men. The house has been filled with a dusting of glitter and the smell of Christmas. I wanted to share these lovely things with you, as I'm quite proud of what we've achieved after all Christmas must be absolutely mind blowing to a little person of 2.5 years.

Salt Dough Decorations for the Christmas Tree
A Christmas tree made out of hand prints.
Our Rudolph hand & foot print Christmas Cards.
I even went out and bought myself a Christmas jumper/dress this year.
And my very festive red shellac manicure.

At home we've been rushing around searching for baubles for our first REAL Christmas tree. I have been ever so excited about getting a real one is year, and so wanted to decorate it well. We spent most of last weekend searching for pretty decorations, and making our home feel restive. It's our first Christmas here, so I'm really enjoying making the most of it and getting into the festive spirit. Here's how it ended up!
Some of my favourite new baubles.

Christmas is a time for giving, something I truly believe. I've been busy planning and wrapping presents and putting them under the tree. Having survived Sainsbury's on probably one of the busiest shopping days of the year. All I have to do now is get our Christmas lunch on the table tomorrow. Then it will be time to sit back relax and enjoy the spirit of Christmas.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.

xXx
