Peggy Porschen, part 2

Well today a second Peggy Porschen visit took place. It all happened by accident really, we were looking for jubilee things going on, and stumbled across the Kings Road, so wandered around and then ended up in Victoria.

Today the parlour, as it is known, was buzzing with people making and collecting orders for birthday cakes and jubilee cupcakes. Just the reason I wanted to visit today. When is a cupcake best? - For an occasion, I would say. Time to embrace the Queen's 60th year on the throne! Although I'm not quite sure the frequency of my visits would account to any particular occasion.

And don't they take the occasion seriously, the parlour is nearly overflowing with royal looking biscuits, and regal cupcakes.

My choice, with an Orange Flower tea, a take on the 'quintessentially 
English Earl Grey'. - a lovely flowery taste.
I loved this cupcake it was nice to have something a little bit different, the Banoffee taste was lovely, there was some toffee sauce in the centre of the cake, and the icing was a nice subtle banana flavour. With chocolate sprinkles on top. Lovely.

Once again I was accompanied by the boy, and this time I think I chose the better cupcake, (this is a first). He went for the Jelly Bean topped cupcake. Sweet tooth and all!!
